The teaching model of the Chinese-German Campus (CDC) is divided into three phases.
Foundation year Ⅰ: Basic lectures and language courses, 4 semesters, place of instruction is Qingdao, China. Qualified students who have been selected jointly by the Qingdao University of Science and Technology (QUST) and the University of Paderborn (UPB) go to Germany for a year abroad (the so-called Germany Year II) at the CDC Paderborn in Phase II.
Year of Germany Ⅱ: Subject-specific lectures and language courses, 2 semesters, place of study in Paderborn. The results of the professional courses and language courses must meet the standards set by Paderborn University and Qingdao University of Science and Technology (QUST) on continuing your studies in Germany Year III.
Germany Year Ⅲ: Subject-specific lectures and thesis, place of study is Paderborn. The students, after successfully completing all required achievements and completing the thesis, fulfill the students 2 Degree from the University of Paderborn and the Qingdao University of Science and Technology (QUST).
- General university entrance qualification German and Chinese
- Proof of a language test at least on the TestDaF 16
- Passed the entrance exam for the University of Paderborn
- The students from China, Vietnam and Mongolia must pass the APS exam process
- Sufficient money to pay for tuition and security deposits
